My thoughts about EOG
<HR style="COLOR: #2b295e" SIZE=1>Not that anyone cares, but a few observations I have made.
People here do not seem to care about handicapping, getting/giving information and overall "beating the man". They are more concerned with what another site is doing, how another capper is doing at another site and who owes who how much money to who. It is amazing to me that with some great resources like Cokin, Bagwell and Trace the posts with the most views are the "gossip" posts. Everyone is jumping on the "Lets bash Ace" threads. What has the man ever done to you? He posts his plays for free and has won at an amazing clip over the last two years. The funny thing is, the people that are bashing the hardest (PO69, Doc) rarely contribute a positive post or give any picks worthy of reading. PO can tell you how easy baseball is and then when pressured, pick the huge chalk and get run over.
I thought the site was going to be responsible giving players solid books to play at. I thought this would be a place I could keep track of the security of my money, and that if something was going on, they would warn me. Now I feel they just want my money too. "Send it here so we can get a big chunk of it. You may not get paid, but that is not our problem". So much for having a friend on the inside.
I thought this site was going to be different. I thought serious gamblers and handicappers were going to come together and share information that would help everyone. Instead, it is turning into the weekly bridge game where little old ladies sit around and talk about everyone else.
It's a real shame. This site has a lot of promise. But the direction it has taken is sad.
